The work of a Christian is ongoing – seven days a week, 365 days a year - for life.

And while we try to understand – understand all that there is to possibly comprehend -

We are expected to be sharing what we know
so far
with others.

"For The kingdom of God is near. Repent and believe the good news."

Jesus wanted everyone to know the good news of God's love for them.

Jesus wanted everyone to know about The Promise of salvation:

That, all people who are obedient to the Gospel according to the measure of knowledge given them, will be saved.

Here today, if we need a place to start together –

In the beginning, God made the heaven and the earth, the water and the skies, and all living things in the air and on the ground. When everything else was done, God took clay and formed an image of God’s own self, and breathed into it God’s own breath, and said, “You are the one I’ve been imagining. Inside of you, I have placed everything you need to live together in my world, the fruits of my Spirit – love and joy, peace and patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, gentleness, and self control!”

To prove God’s love for us, God reached inside God’s own soul, and pulled out the gifts of the Spirit and put them inside a form the people would recognize, a holy human being named Jesus.

God set Jesus on the earth to remind us of all that God had made us to be and all that we could be if we would believe in God and in ourselves.

Jesus did all that he could to encourage us to look inside ourselves at all God had put there to make the world right and good for all creation.

It could be said that the view from any given Christian church window on any given Sunday morning I
s that there are two types of people outside it:
Those who know this and those who do not – whether by choice or circumstance...

They are Our Neighbors none-the-less.

As we look out any window on any given day – windows in our homes, windows in our cars, windows at school, windows at work -
Knowing all that we know to be so on that given day –
We must connect with them both.

Connectionalism
is the cooperative ministry and mission in the world –

The link between Christian doctrine and Christian living.

It could be said – the link between Sundays and the rest of the week – the other six days of the week

It could be said – the link between us – and the neighborhood…

We must love them - our neighbors, as ourselves

Our love is the fulfilling of our very own law.

Our task is to spread the Good News to others –
Jesus was indeed the Messiah promised in the Old Testament: the son of God, incarnated as a man, whose suffering and death absolve sins and promise eternal life to those who heed his message.

And

No matter the arena we find ourselves in – No matter the company we keep, or find ourselves with:

The best way to spread the Good News – the good news of God's love is the same today as it was in Jesus' day. The best way is to tell others about it!
.

if even only in action in lieu of spoken word
if even only in loving in lieu of spoken word
.
Connect with what you know – Love with what you know…
